Pythagoras claimed that the entire universe is governed by numbers. I feel the universe is governed by the numeral 7 !!

A habit of finding out "7" in our life around us has crept in to support my thoughts lately.


- 7 days in a week
- 7 seas encompassing this earth
- 7 colors making up the hite light
- 7 wonders of the world
- 7 lives ! ( saat janmon ka saath jise kehte hain ;-) )
- 7 leds are used to completely respresent the numerals from 0 to 9.
- 7 Dwarfs and Snowhite !!
- 7th son of the 7th son is considered to be the gifted child.
- 7 is the h0ly number by the Bible.
- 7 times is the maximum number of folds possible in any piece of paper
- 7 are the continents on this earth (assuming North and South America as different continents)
- 007, which is equal to 7 technically, is James Bond's Number.
- 7 brethren are needed to make a perfect lodge ( Got it from Grisham's "The Brethren.")
